Sophia came to us all the way from Ohio After her and her siblings found themselves in the shelter when their parents divorced and sold the house.
Sophia is a 9 year old collie mix who has the sweetest soul and disposition . She just wants to follow her person around and be close to them. She doesn’t bother much with her foster sisters or toys, but does occasionally like to chew on a bone or antler. As Sophia just had two of her top molars removed due to dental disease it is not recommended for her to chew on any hard bones at this time. She also had three small lumps removed from her left front paw, neck and the top of her head. She is healing well and will go to get her stitches out next week!
Sophia is housetrained and is left alone for approximately 8 hours during the day while her fosters are at work. She sleeps through the night on her orthopaedic bed in the bedroom. Sophia eats breakfast and dinner like a champ and is very food motivated.
Sophia is looking for her forever family that she can spend her retirement years with. She is not very active and prefers naps over walks.
