Dogs

Frank

Frank has been adopted!

Sponsored in honour of Steffy Grace who wants all dogs to find their forever home..like she did.

Meet Frank! This adorable 2 year old neutered pug mix is the definition of a cuddle bug (or should we say, cuddle pug). If Frank had a dating profile, he would describe himself as affectionate, curious, and muscular, probably.

Frank’s nicknames include Frankie Doodle, Frank the Tank, and Spankie (he loves a good butt scratch!). He has all the spunk of young dog during times of play and exercise, but settles well in the house when it’s quiet time. Frankie had a few small bathroom accidents in the first days of adjusting to his new foster home, but these have resolved and he appears to be housetrained.

Frank’s idea of a good time would be a leashed walk allowing him to stop and stiff all the things; running out his zoomies in the backyard, or cuddling with his humans on the couch. He gets along well with his canine housemate, and is indifferent to the household cat. He may chase cats or other small animals if they are running in the house, but will not bother them under normal circumstances.

Frank is adjusting quite well to his new foster home, attaching himself to his foster mom, but open to cuddling with his foster dad, too. He may let out some grumbles or barks if a new or intimidating person approaches him, but getting down to his level and offering some pets will quickly win him over. The stomach may or may not present itself for a belly rub. There have been no bite attempts and no signs of aggression.

The person or family that adopts Frank must be comfortable with dogs in the bed and on the furniture. The little guy has grown accustomed to watching hockey games (he is a Leafs fan, of course) on the living room couch and curling up in bed with his foster humans, dreaming of his furever family.
