Bailey

Bailey has been adopted!

Sponsored by Stephanie E., for her love of beautiful beagles

Meet Bailey! She is a beautiful girl with the true beagle spirit. She loves looking for squirrels and rabbits in the backyard and will need a fenced yard. Bailey is experiencing the comforts of home for the first time and is learning there is so much more to life than what she has experienced in the past. Bailey loves to snuggle with her foster mom but finds it difficult to relax outside of her crate. Bailey is fully crate trained and is quite comfortable when she is in there.

Bailey has had no accidents in the house and appears fully house trained although she can get distracted by all the new smells outside and sometimes needs a reminder to go potty when outside.

Bailey enjoys snuggling with her 7-year-old foster brother but has had to let him know that she needs her personal space also. Bailey would do best in a calm family with children over the age of 12.

Bailey is fairly low energy and hasn’t shown much interest in running around with her fur sister in the backyard. She prefers to explore the backyard rather than play. Bailey has not been taught any commands and is working on learning her name and to come when called. She is not treat/food motivate so it may take some time to teach her some basic commands.

Bailey loves going for walks and is good on a leash. Bailey is a gentle dog who would do great in any type of house (ie. apartment, semi-detached or detached home) but does howl when she see’s the geese in the pond.  She has been very quiet when indoors and has shown no signs of destructive behavior.

If you are looking for a companion to snuggle with and take for long walks Bailey is your girl. She prefers females and does get scared at loud noises and male voices. As we continue to get to know Bailey, we will post updates.

Lovingly fostered by Tania
