Oscar / Male / Shih Tzu Mix / 10 years old / 10 pounds / Vision Impaired / Adoption Fee is $300.00
Oscar is a sweet older gentleman who is looking for his forever home! He found himself in need of rescue after being abandoned at a local groomer. He is vision impaired but does well with the limited vision he does has, one eye having more vision then the other. He currently is in a foster home with other dogs and does very well but does not require a home with other dogs, he would also be happy being an only dog. He is his foster dads shadow and loves to sit at his feet while he cooks telling him all kinds of stories. He is fully housetrained and will bark at the door to be let out.
Medically he is on the mend and in much better shape than he was when he originally came into our care. He has received a dental and while under had a number of warts removed. He also came into our care with quite a bad ear infection which has not healed up.
He would do best in a quite home who is looking for a companion. He is not the kind of dog who needs to be in your lap at all times but he does like to follow you around and be in your general area when you are home. He is the sweetest boy and we are looking forward to finding him his perfect home.
