Save Me remembers Shep
We are saddened to end 2023 with the news of the passing of Shep.
Shep was a special senior Northern dog, who was adopted by his loving foster family. He was just supposed to be an overnight foster but he never left. While his family knew they would not have him for a long time, given his age, they had hoped for a little longer. Although the time with his family was short, we can safely say the amount of love he received with them was enough for a lifetime.
Shep was a kind, gentle and calm soul which was seen when his family welcomed other foster dogs into their home. His family says he was the most spiritual soul they have ever met in an animal.
Rest in peace, Shep and thank you to his wonderful family for loving him and giving him so many amazing adventures in the time he had with you.
