Giuseppe has been adopted!
Giuseppe is sponsored by the the Brodsky family in memory of Seamus Cerato – a much loved wee Westie boy.
If you’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic companion, you’ve found him.
Giuseppe is the perfect gentleman in the house; fully house trained, crate comfortable, patient, respectful of furniture and quickly understands where his spot is. He loves routine, keeps track of where all family members are in the house and loves to follow his foster mom around hoping to help out.
Giuseppe is happiest cuddled up in a chair beside you. He looks at you with those beautiful longing, beagle eyes, that tell you how much he loves you.
Even though Giuseppe had a rough start, he’s incredibly resilient and friendly and just wants to be part of the family. He’s so appreciative of a soft blanket to sleep on, a good meal and kind attention. He’s learning to play with toys, is a smart boy that knows a few basic commands and is ready to learn more.
Always ready for a trip around the block, he LOVES to walk, is great on leash and is attentive. He’s friendly to everyone he encounters. His foster family’s cat enjoys his respectful company and curls up beside him for a nap.
Giuseppe can be anxious when left alone but his foster family is working with him to help him realize he can count on them to return. Although he’s typically quiet, he can whine and bark when left alone.
Giuseppe’s ideal family would be active, kind and attentive, not away from home for extended periods of time. He’d love a fully fenced yard to run but as long as he’s walked regularly he’d do well. Apartment or shared living space may not be ideal until he is no longer barking when first left alone. Seppe would also do well with older children and fur siblings.
Seppie was lovingly fostered by Lisa A.
