Allie has completely stolen her foster mom’s heart. This affectionate, happy and timid girl has come so far and it is difficult for her foster mom to express in words how incredibly proud she is of her. When Allie initially arrived in foster care she definitely needed quiet time and some personal space, as days passed Allie started coming to her foster mom more and more for affection and is now quite demanding of love and attention. These days Allie can be found with a constant wagging tail, following her foster mom around the house or snuggled up in foster mom’s lap. Allie is timid when meeting new people but approaches curiously and cautiously, eager for ear rubs and the possibility of a treat. She is a total cookie monster and will do almost anything for a treat. Allie loves to cuddle and be carried around once she is comfortable with her people. Allie can be quite the goofball and enjoys tunneling under blankets and playing with stuffed toys. In foster care Allie is left for a full work day with no issues at all and is fully house trained. Allie would prefer a quiet home with adults and older children (over the age of 12) as she startles easily. Allie would be fine as an only pet or with a calm and respectful furry companion. Allie walks extremely well on leash, often healing by her foster mom’s side. Allie is currently being fostered in a condo and is relatively quiet most of the time. She would love a home that has the patience to let her come out of her shell on her own terms and in return her family will be rewarded with more love and affection then they can ever imagine.
