Grady was rescued in honour of Duke.

Grady has arrived! Fifty pounds of sweet hound/Weimaraner mix he is a beautiful. His unique look, yes he really is blue and white and striking eye colour make him a show stopper. His wonderful personality just adds to the mix.

Grady is a well socialized dog who does well with all sizes, both male and female. He met his foster Mom’s 21 year old cat and lived to tell the tail. Kidding! He still isn’t quite sure it is a cat but it doesn’t run , so he leaves it alone.

Being only one he still has his puppy playfulness in him. He would do well in a home with a companion dog or a home that is willing to commit time to walking / backyard play. He is very intelligent and his fosters think agility training would be a good focus for him. If nothing more, he would benefit from basic obedience training. Foster parents are beginning work on leash training. He has already figured out to sit for treats and catches on quickly.

He is a master at the game of toys and enjoys a good tug of war with his foster brothers.

Although he showed fear of men in a shelter situation, he has shown none in a home setting. He successfully kept his foster Dad company at work today without issues.

This boy is well rounded and all he needs is a permanent home and love to blossom to his full potential.
