This lovely pair of seniors just cannot be kept apart! They were both abandoned along with a note and are looking for the perfect retirement home to spend their golden years together… always and forever!
Sugar – Female – 15 lbs – 11 yrs
There is an old saying that says, behind every great man is an even greater woman. This is not Sugar. Sugar is never behind Rush. She is beside him, with him, reassuring him. She is his rock – always covering him with kisses to let him know everything will be okay. She lives a very simple life; give her a comfy bed and some good food and you will have a friend forever.
Rush – Male – 10 lbs – 10 yrs
He is the typical husband: after a few years of marriage, he is now partly bald, but oh so charming! He is playful and always make his humans smile. He has a collapsed trachea and will need to be walked with a harness only.
Sugar & Rush share their foster home with two other dogs and get along with both of them. They are timid at first, but they will quickly come around. They love their raw meals, toys, and snuggling. Sometimes, you’ll find one of them sitting on your lap before you even have time to sit down! They are affectionate and will cover you with kisses.
