We are still treating it however she is able to see a little in her left eye now and has full vision in the right eye. Lucy is running and playing and having a great time!! Lucy just loves her walks now and loves snow!! Lucy will be accepting applications now in rehab until her next follow up appointment.

***

Lucy is your typical beautiful Shih Tzu with a spunky personality to match. Lucy made a long trip from Kentucky and settled in at her foster home very well. Lucy found herself in the shelter and it was very stressful as she is blind in her left eye and was very confused. Since arrival to her foster home she has been treated for badly infected eyes however she is wagging and greeting her foster family with happiness. Lucy is fully housetrained and does not require to be crated. She is living with an older calm Shih Tzu and is very respectful and snuggles at times. Lucy walks well on a leash but is a little slower figuring out her new environment. Lucy has a fabulous appetite and gets excited with treats. Lucy has no interest in toys but loves to sit and be close to her people.

Lucy will do best in a calm home and in an adult environment with adult children. Owners who are home to spend time with her or with a small calm dog would be ideal. Lucy has never barked in her foster home.

Lucy is a very sweet loving Shih Tzu who is looking for a new forever home who is willing to commit to treat her dry eyes with lifelong drops. Lucy has so much love to give and would make an amazing family addition. Lucy is in rehab while her eyes are being treated.

Lucy was lovingly fostered by Nicole.
