Spider-Man

Spider-Man has been adopted!

Sponsored by Toba, in honour of Toby, Riley, and Penny. Every furbaby deserves a loving home and happiness.

My name is Spider-Man – although, one day I was sitting around, being my cute self and my foster parents said I was a perfect little Lady. Me ears perked up as I loved being called that and ever since, I’ve responded to Lady. Or “Little Lady” although I am about 48 lbs and a shepherd mix but that doesn’t mean I can’t still sit on your lap, right?

I come from an unfortunate background – my brothers and sisters came from a hoarding situation where there was about 20 of us and 30 cats. It wasn’t an ideal situation for me, but my spirits never died! And it also means that I do really well with other dogs and cats in my household. I don’t really know how to play with the cats in my current foster home, but I do try.

I love my humans and can’t get enough of them. I am always by their side, always wagging my tail and always smiling. I am a very happy girl; I barely leave my foster mom’s side. I love being cuddled and being told I’m pretty. I follow her around the house and I also like to bring her presents! I never chew or ruin things, I just like to show my parents what I have to offer. So far I have brought them – my special toys (obviously), water bottles, shoes, underwear, socks, a full cup of water (that I did not spill by the way), deodorant (I think my foster mom needed it), mail etc. I just want to help.

I am fully house trained. I will even start pacing around the doors outside to let you know that I have to go out! Although, I must be honest I am more of a home body. My current foster home has a yard and I don’t really like being out there – I go outside and do what I need to and then come right back in and look out the window. I do like going for walks and walk well on leash, but I am a little afraid of the outside. Loud noises or too much commotion scare me. My foster parents sometimes take me on hikes in quiet areas and I do enjoy those moments very much.

Again, I love my humans. I could sit beside them and stare at them all day long. New people coming into the home make me kind of nervous though. I’m never mean, I just need a little bit of time to get used to new people. As long as they give me my space and allow me to come up to them calmly, I can warm up quickly.

I do love my foster home but I am hoping that one day, I will have a place to call my forever home. I promise I will be the perfect little Lady and will give you all the love I have to offer.
