Save Me Rescue remembers Scott.
Left abandoned and starving in Mexico, Scott was rescued by the wonderful people at the Humane
Society of Cozumel Island and nursed back to health. At 5 years old, Scott was still busily packing on some much needed weight under the watchful eye of his nurturing foster parents from Save Me Rescue in southern Ontario. Once Scott was ready for a forever home, his photo was shared all over our social media, and under incredible coincidence; a family that had met Scott in Cozumel while on vacation saw his photo and applied instantly!
It was a fairy tale of sorts for our beloved Scott, being spoiled and loved by his forever family. Scott and his new family adored each other so much, which is why it was so heartbreaking when Scott was diagnosed with lymphoma. It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that Scott has sadly lost his battle with cancer. Thank you to everyone who helped to share his photo, his page, medical fund and to everyone who donated. Please keep Scott’s family in your thoughts during this difficult time. Rest in peace, sweet, brave boy. You will forever be with us as your memory lives on.
