Save Me Rescue remembers Jax.
Jax came to us after spending many months in a Kentucky shelter. He proved to his foster mom that love at first sight does exist as when he met his forever mom he literally wrapped himself around her and wouldn’t let go. Although their time together was far too short Jax left an indelible mark on her heart. Nine months after being adopted Jax was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and despite the best efforts of specialists Jax did not respond to treatment.
The difficult but humane decision had to be made and Jax left this world enveloped in love. We are sure that those nine months were the best months of his life.
