Paco has been adopted!
Sponsored by Sue and Miles, in honour of their Save Me Alumi Jake
Paco is very much a gentleman with very good manners. He loves to cuddle and be right beside you, or better yet right on your lap! He has just discovered the toy box and loves to fetch and shake those toys up! Paco would be a welcome addition for any family or person.
He is a Chihuahua Yorkie mix, weighing 9 lbs. and is in very good health. He is neutered and his rabies immunizations is current. He is a does love his meals and treats, but is usually respectful of his siblings treats and meals. He is a quiet boy, not prone to barking.
This sweet little boy comes to us from Hardin County Animal Shelter in Ohio. He was found as a stray at the end of December. Shelter life for him was somewhat stressful, but he is definitely coming into his own and his loving personality is definitely shining bright!
Paco currently lives with him foster mom, three dogs and 2 cats. He loves to be with him foster mom and tends follows her from room to room, except when he is sleeping. He gets along extremely well with everyone, even the cats, and has from the time he arrived January 11. He exhibits a good respect for the other dogs and is in no way aggressive. He engages them in games of tag and everyone has a fun time. He has just discovered the toy box and is joyfully playing with the squeak toys and bringing toys to play fetch. He is fully housetrained and does not mark indoors.
He loves sleeping on the couch, cuddling, belly rubs and toys! He seems to have a good understanding of basic commands and walks well on a leash. Paco is extremely intelligent and learns very quickly. He is still learning his name and fast motions, especially around his face, tend to startle him. Caution- he thinks hands are to play with and this should be discouraged.
Paco would benefit from having someone home with him most of the time in order to adjust, as the last month has been quite stressful. A fenced yard is a must, if living in a house. I am not sure how he is around children, but from what I have seen of his good nature, I do not believe that would be an issue.
Paco has been a pure joy to foster and will bring the same to his lucky new family!
Paco was lovingly fostered by Jackie.
