Raggedy Anne

Raggedy Anne has been adopted!

Sponsored in loving memory of Keith Johnston who was one of Save Me’s original board members – a kind and loving gentleman who gave love and comfort to many precious dogs over the years. He will be fondly remembered by all of us at the rescue.

Raggedy Anne is a sweet senior Maltese mix, who ended up in one of the shelters we work with, after being hit by a car. She was in rough shape and a state of horrible neglect. For the first while she was not weight bearing on one of her legs. Annie has healed well and as long as she does not over-use the leg she no longer limps. She is a happy, friendly, and loving girl who just needs continued TLC. Good nutrition will go a long way to having her look and feel her best.
Annie lives with a number of small dogs in her foster home and does well with them. She has her playful side and would love a small sibling in her forever home. Although she was quite timid and hesitant when she first arrived she soon was following her foster mom everywhere and loves to be near her. Annie would do best in a calm and quiet home where she will not be left for long periods of time.

Annie has been adopted by a previous adopter who’s 3 senior Save Me puppy mill girls all passed away recently within a short time.
