Mai Tai has been adopted!
Sponsored by Ryan, in memory of his beloved Bo
Mai Tai arrived from Kentucky recently. She had lost her home there and was in a Kentucky shelter with her brother. Mai Tai was very scared and protective of her sibling. The shelter staff felt the dogs would do better separated and Mai Tai has not exhibited any behaviour in her foster home that has raised any concerns about fear biting. It will be important for her adopter to keep this in mind when Mai Tai is introduced to new people that they respect her space and let her come to them.
She loves cuddles and spends as much time as possible curled in any lap. She is doing very well on her housebreaking. She dives into her food dish and cleans up every bite. Mai Tai can be vocal when left alone and would not be suited to an apartment. She is non-shedding and needs only brushing and an occasional clipping.
Mai Tai was lovingly fostered by Evelyn.
