Liza

Liza has been adopted!

Sponsored by Toba, in honour of Toby, Riley and Penny. Every furbaby deserves a loving home and happiness.

Liza is a 2 year old chihuahua mix who found herself at an over crowded shelter in Tennessee at risk of euthanasia. We don’t know anything about her past or how she ended up at the shelter but we know she is a very sweet, loving, happy go lucky girl.

Liza loves people of all ages and loves to show her affection through unlimited kisses! Her sweet and gentle nature makes her suitable for a home with small but respectable children. She has bonded very quickly to her foster family and loves to follow them around and always be close by.

Liza is housetrained and is given free rein of the house when her foster family is not home. When they are away she spends her time gazing out the window waiting for their return or sleeping the time away. She walks well on a leash and gets excited when she knows it’s time for a walks and does a little happy dance.

At night Liza shares a bed with her foster mom and you can find her snuggled up right next to her or sprawled out at the foot of the bed.

Liza gets along well with other dogs and has also done well with cats. She enjoys playing with toys and is a great balance of playful and laidback. You will often find her exploring the yard taking in all the smells or laying out in the sun. She loves to follow her nose and being the smart girl she is, she will find small openings to let herself out for a stroll. Therefore a fully secure fully fenced yard is a must.

If you are looking for the sweetest girl that will give you a life of unlimited kisses then Liza is the girl for you.
