Fluffy

Fluffy has been adopted!

Sponsored by a long time supporter and great friend of Save Me, Heather. Thank you for your continued support, Heather.

Fluffy (also goes by her nickname Fluffy Mae) is an 8wk old female Northern pup. She has had her first set of vaccinations and has been dewormed. She is now ready to find her forever home.

Fluffy Mae is a cute little pup now but we assume that she will be a large girl when fully grown. The vet felt she could be about 50-60lbs. Please keep this in mind as we realize it is hard to resist that cute little face right now.

She is a typical puppy. We are working on housetraining. She will go to the washroom outside when we take her but she still pees and poops in the house. She is crate trained and has been sleeping successfully in her crate at night for up to 7hrs. She is eating well. She loves to be outside with her people. She enjoys car rides and is quite well-behaved in the car. When tethered to the backseat, she usually lays down and has a nap. She is discovering her voice and, typical of a husky mix, she can be very vocal. She will require adopters that will take her to obedience school and are committed to helping her transition through all those pesky puppy behaviors such as biting your toes, chewing on furniture, trying to eat anything she finds on the floor, feeling insecure when you leave her behind in a room and she can’t follow you etc.

Fluffy Mae is a confident girl and gets along well with the other, much larger dogs in the foster home. She is happy to play with them and will come to her foster parent if she needs a hug or a cuddle. There are cats in the foster home as well and currently, she gets along with them fine. Fluffy is still very young and probably would not do well with young children as she is still teething and loves to bite and chew. Her teeth are like little needles and this would not be a good combination with young children.
