Flash has been adopted!
Sponsored in hopes he finds his forever home full of love
Hi world! My name is Flash and I want to be your superhero best friend.
So much has happened in my short life and I can’t wait to tell you about it.
I was born in a very cold place in way up north Ontario and there were SO many of my brothers and sisters, but there wasn’t enough people to look after us. So one day these 2 very friendly guys from “Pilots4Paws” came and took us on an airplane! It was my first plane ride and it was kind of scary, but also super cool! We landed and my brother Sisco and me went to live with my foster Mom, Brother and sister Rosie who was fuzzy like us. It was warm, we were safe, we had food and water, we were so happy. Slowly I decided that we were gonna be okay, so I decided to be adventurous and see what this place was all about. I love running around really fast and jumping on my brother. I get to wrestle with my foster brother too. Id’ LOVE to have a brother or sister forever! Sometimes my foster mum has to remind me to watch out for the walls. I also like exploring things with my teeth, which I do get in trouble for. It’s just that everything feels so interesting! My foster mum will tell me “No chewing!” and look mad but then she gives me something else to chew on that’s probably safer. Thanks foster Mom, I’ll get it right soon.
BUT I also LOVE to snuggle and lick my mom and my brothers’ face A LOT! I try to lick my foster sister’s face too but she isn’t so sure yet.
I also went to see an animal doctor and had my first set of needles. I was so brave. Super hero brave! She said that I’m a happy puppy who is thriving. They also said that one of my testicles hasn’t come down yet; whatever those are. The doctor said that it should come down, but if it doesn’t, I’ll need a bigger incision at the time of my neuter. Whatever THAT is, but it doesn’t sound good. The other thing the doctor found was a low-grade heart murmur. She is hopeful that this is a type of murmur that is not unusual in puppies and will get better. It’s something that my new family will have to get checked out at all the rest of my doctor visits.
Whew! Just think of what the rest of my life holds if this has been the start! Just one thing left though, who’s going to be FAST enough to adopt me! Is it YOU!?
To support our Northern Rescue Partners, in their efforts to bring veterinary care and spay/neuter clinics to the Northern Communities, $50.00 of each northern dog adoption fee will go towards these programs.
