It is my pleasure to introduce Duke. Duke is a wonderful senior who deserves only the best from here on. Duke arrived into Canada on January 4, during the time he has spent with our family, he has done nothing but shower us with love. He loves the outdoors and gets really, really excited when anyone shows him his leash. He walks well on his leash and listens extremely well when off-leash when you call his name. He has a great appetite and is not fussy with food. He usually does his business outdoors, but we have had a few accidents. Although he has been mistreated by children in his former life, he loves to cuddle with our two boys (aged 14,16). He sleeps well through the night, loves to sit on laps and loves his new life so far! He gets along great with his foster sister and our two cats, loves going for car rides (he pauses at his foster parents car when they go for a walk) and could walk for hours. One look into his big brown eyes and you too will be in love.
