Update on Allie.
I would like you to meet one of the sweetest and friendliest dogs ever ! “Allie” is the perfect house guest and is totally house trained. She is as quiet as a lamb..unless she thinks someone is at the door. And that’s only excitement as she LOVES it when new people ( to her) arrive and demands to say hello in her happy friendly way. Allie loves her food., is now getting used to what treats are..and politely takes her turn in getting them. Her tail wags a mile a minute upon meeting other dogs and was very excited to meet all mine when she first arrived here.. There was no problem at all with introducing Allie to the many dogs here.
Allie had a rough last month, she does not understanding why her previous owners threw her out of their moving car. Allie chased the car and tried to catch up..to no avail. Such a sad little girl. Luckily the car behind her was a vet tech whom we work with, and she finally got Allie and took her to her clinic. She
was uninjured except for her spirit I’m sure. They loved her so much that they didn’t want to send her to
the pound, so she stayed there until rescue could be found.
Allie is a small girl with long skinny legs like a Whippet. She gets easily chilled so is loving her sweaters and
warm outside coat. Her favourite place is to be is under a blanket and close to the fireplace. Allie would be such a joy to share your life with. She was timid at first when she arrived, but warms up quickly when she understands that she will not be hurt.
