Bonjour everyone!
My name is Po and I am little terrier bundle of fun. I travelled from a shelter in Gatineau Quebec and have been living with my foster family in Ilderton having an amazing time. My foster family tells me I am a wonderful dog because I have only had one accident, I love to play and I am full of spunk. I love playing with my foster dog sibling who is a small poodle mix. My foster mom told me I must have been a family pet as I kiss and play with the human children in the house. I just love going on walks as well as running zoomies in the fenced backyard. My foster family tells me I have a voice when I see someone or something aka a leaf that I am not familiar with but I do settle quickly. I gobble down all my kibble but would prefer to have the yummy liver treats all day!! I am learning English as my first language was French in Quebec, but I am coming along with lots of praise and positive reinforcement.
My foster family knows that my perfect family requires a house with a secured fenced yard as an apartment may be tricky because I do have a voice at times. I would definitely require a small similar fur sibling and human children to play with too would be nice! A family that will be home with me most of the time would be great, but I can stay alone for 6 hours without having an accident. I do like to snuggle and sleep on my human’s bed if they let me:)
I did have cherry eye surgery and while it is unlikely, there is a slight possibility that it could recur.
