Connor has been adopted!
Sponsored by David N., in honour of Elizabeth Abbott, long time supporter of Save Me
Connor is a very friendly little guy who is still has the energy of a puppy. He loves his toys, playing with his family, running around and playing fetch in the backyard and going for walks.
It appears Connor has not had a lot of training previously as although he walks well on a leash, he does not know any basic commands. He also is not crate trained and does not like to be crated. Connor’s ideal family is one that is committed to helping him learn some basic obedience, particularly his recall and stay command. He should be watched carefully around doors as he tends to be right behind people as they are leaving (looking to run out for some fun)!
Connor ideal home is one with a fenced in backyard and an active family, with older children or no children, who are committed to help burn his puppy energy through lots of playtime and walks (which will help keep him out of trouble!). He currently is fostered in a home with other dogs and would be okay in a home with another dog or as the only dog. Because Connor loves to play in the backyard and he does bark, condos/apartments are not suitable.
Connor is not the type of dog to nap the day away. He loves to play and wants to be wherever his family is. He does ok in the car and would love for you to take him with you wherever you go.
