Jace is one of the sweetest beagle mixes you can possibly find. He is friendly with everyone including other dogs and cats and loves to just be with his people. Jace has a moderate energy level and would love a home with a fenced in yard and a family that would take him for lots of walks. The shelter staff described Jace as calm and quiet in his kennel and just an all around good boy. Jace does not know a stranger and is very outgoing and social. He is a typical hound who walks with his nose to the ground and loves to explore the world through smell. He travels well in the car and is the kind of dog that you could take almost anywhere with you
Jace was rescued a few months ago but during his vetting it was discovered that he was heartworm positive, he has now completed treatment and is ready to find his new home. Currently he can enjoy walks and playtime with his favourite people but should avoid doing anything extremely strenuous until his recheck in 6 months time
