Hi Y’all!!
My name is Oslo and I am a tri colour Rat Terrier who has travelled from Kentucky to find my forever home. They tell me I was a stray however I know some basic commands and I know to sit for treats!! I am 6 years old and weigh 18 pounds. I have been given a clean bill of health by the veterinarian so I am all ready for my forever home. Currently my foster home has given me so much love and attention both with two fur siblings Bentley and Molly as well as two human children ages 8 and 6!! I am very good with all of them. At times when I have a toy or a treat I can be a little resource protective as I don’t think I have had all this fun stuff given to me before but my foster mom is working with me on this. The sounds in my foster home are new to me like the coffee maker, vacuum, and when I get scared I run to my bed and lay down. I only had one accident in the house on the very first day but now I do all my business outside!! I love to be in the fenced in backyard and go for walks and I am learning to not pull on my leash. I absolutely love to play with tennis balls and know how to fetch and return/drop the ball! I could play ball for hours! I have met many people and dogs in my new neighborhood and have been gentle and kind.
I think I would be best with another dog fur sibling as I have not been tested with cats. I am fairly calm and do jump up at times so I will need to continue training to not jump! My foster family says “down” and I am learning what that means. I love love to be with my humans and will snuggle up on your lap and sleep. I also love belly rubs but my feet are a little sensitive so I tend to not like them touched. When my foster family picked me up it was obvious I had been in car rides and loved looking out the window.
