Redmond is adopted
Redmond / Male / Terrier Mix / 11 months old / 17 pounds
Redmond was sponsored by Angela H., in memory of her father, Russell Holtby who passed last year, he loved his dogs so much.
Redmond has arrived and is a happy little guy that has a tail that is wagging constantly. He is very unique looking and we get asked constantly what mix he is on our daily walks. He has beautiful eyes that speak to you, short stubby legs, a long body, a long tail, soft wire fur and lovely pearly white teeth!
He seems to be house trained, is learning to walk well on a leash, has begun his crate training and sleeps great at night. He has not spent a lot of time yet playing with toys; however he will play fetch with his humans and bring the ball right back to you. He would love a backyard of his own to play fetch in.
Due to Redmond’s age, he will need a home that is wanting to continue his positive reinforcement training and that will enroll him in doggy obedience classes. He is food motivated and takes treats very gently from your hand.
Redmond is intrigued by the senior kitty in his foster home and if given the chance would probably chase her for some fun. A home with no cats or a home with dog savy cats would be best for Redmond.
Redmond has been introduced to quite a few dogs and seems to prefer dogs of similar statue or smaller.
