Charlie is adopted!
Charlie is a snuggle-bear! He could easily become one of the most important individuals in your life…and he really wants to be!
He is eager to meet children and seems to enjoy their company. He loves anyone’s lap to snuggle in and when you stop petting him, he gently puts his paw on you asking for more.
He follows her foster family all around the house with a little pounce in his step, his tail wagging and a smile on his face! He is happy to lie down at your feet while you tend to any daily task. His is keen on being with his humans and would benefit from having someone home most of the time with him. His foster family is working on crate training and this is going really well. Charlie will bark a little when he is first left in his crate; however, some yummy treats left inside allows him to focus on those rather than his human leaving.
He has only been in his foster home for a short period of time and seems to be house trained. He is not familiar with stairs, so is currently learning how to go up and down them to go outside. It is evident that a leash is also new to Charlie and so is the surroundings outside during his short walks each day.
Charlie recently traveled from Ohio where he was rescued from a hoarding situation along with several other poodles. Charlie is good with other dogs and cats; however it seems that his main interest is his people. He is very social and enjoys meeting people.
Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
