Hello my name is McFarland but my foster mom and dad call me Mac or Wiggles. They call me Wiggles because when I wag my tail I wiggle a lot. I also have two foster siblings, Daizy and Ollie they are dogs too and we all get along great. At my last home my family had a cat, l also love to play with cats. I’m also used to being around wheelchairs as my last family had a boy that was disabled, I loved sitting in his lap. My foster grandpa is also disabled and he has an electric wheelchair that does not scare me at all. He took me for a little ride which I enjoyed. I love to cuddle and sleep with my foster family in their bed. I walk good on a leash but need a harness because cars scare me. I don’t mind being groomed but my skin is very sensitive so it hurts sometimes and I have growled. Oh and I LOVE squeaky toys so much, they make me so happy. My foster family has so many toys. I like to play games with my foster mom, when she’s picking up the toys and putting them away I sneak behind her and pull them back out, she laughs and calls me silly.
From the Foster Family:
Mac is a sweet and very affectionate boy. He loves to cuddle with his foster siblings but really loves to cuddle with his foster mom in the chair. Mac has very sensitive skin and yelps when he licks himself, but he is being treated at the vet now for it. Because of the skin issue he does smell a bit but with treatment this will pass. He’s just a little boy that has a huge heart and a huge halarious attitude. He loves other dogs and cats and people but when he hears little kids crying he gets scared so he would do best in a home with older kids. He is housebroken and generally will pee on command but only when he’s sure his people are waiting for him. He would do better in a home with another small dog because he loves the company of another dog when home alone. He does well in a crate but would rather the run of the house. He’s a nosey boy and thinks there is something for him in every bag basket and bin, but he’s a cute trouble maker 😊 He’s been a pleasure to have around and we will miss him when he goes to his new family.
