Sam is a wonderful and sweet little man!
Sam is excellent with both dogs and cats and great on his own as well. He enjoys gentle play time with his people and will play on his own. He is excellent on a leash and enjoys his strolls in the neighborhood. He loves to please his owner, eats very well and he loves to cuddle!
Sam would do best in a home with no children and a house that has a yard. He’s not a big barker, so he would be fine in an apartment or condo as long as he was walked and exercised each day. Sam is also house trained and listens well to direction. Sam is nervous with strangers and will take some time to warm up to them. He is hand shy in his foster home (this characteristic is often shown in dogs that have not been treated fairly).
Sam will need a family that will continue his positive reinforcement training.
