Saul is a friendly, playful and loving senior poodle mix who is 100% a puppy at heart.
Saul loves meeting new people, going for long walks and playing with his toys. Saul is visually impaired but gets by extremely well and looks to his human friends for guidance. Saul has never met a stranger and is excellent with people of all ages, dogs and cats too.
In Saul’s foster home he lives peacefully with multiple other small dogs, at a recent adoption event he got along beautifully with an large energetic dog as well. Saul has never met a living creature he does not like and greets everyone with a wagging tail and enthusiastic smile. Saul will spend hours playing with his stuffed toys and loves to throw them up in the air.
Saul would be a great apartment or condo dog as he is usually pretty quiet and loves going on long walks with his favorite people. Currently Saul is left alone for 4 hours a day and rests quietly in the house with his dog friends during this time.
His foster family would love to find him a home with someone that would be able to spend lots of time with him. At night Saul curls up in a comfy dog bed and sleeps peacefully until morning. We cannot really think of any kind of family situation that would not be ideal for this easy going boy, he is a lover of all living things and will offer his future family so much love and happiness in return.
