Rosey has been adopted.
Rosey at the age of 5 is observing and learning that a home offers patience, love and kindness, not cruelty. She responds to her name but will not come very close out of fear that she will be hurt. We are working towards building her trust and love and her new home will need to realize this is not something that will happen quickly. She walks well on the leash and is only hesitant when she hears loud noises. She does enjoy her walks as her tail is now up in the air and wags on occasion during our walks.
We hope with consistent exposure to every day sounds she will become more confident. Rosey has the kindest and sweetest face but those eyes melt your heart as they show the rough start she has had in her short life. She has shown no signs of aggression towards her humans or with her food. Once Rosey realized that our dog, Molly, was no threat to her they have gotten along well. In fact we no longer crate Rosey at night or during the day when we leave the house to do some errands. Rosey has had no accidents in the house and goes to door when she wants out.
Rosey is a quiet dog as she very rarely barks. We would like Rosey to have a home with no young children as we believe this would be too much stress for her. Rosey is a smart dog and we know once she gains confidence and trusts her humans she will respond well to any training she needs.

Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
