Bunny

Bunny is adopted!

Bunny / Female / Beagle/Corgi/Shepherd Mix / 3 years old / 27 pounds / Adoption Fee is $400.00

Bunny’s pull fee has been sponsored by Sue Z. in memory of Buddy Ballou Zimmer-Harrison

Bunny came into rescue when she was surrendered along with another dog by her people who no longer had time for her. This sweet girl has gone through a lot of changes these past few weeks and it will be wonderful for Bunny to soon be settled in a forever home.

Bunny spent some time in a temporary foster home in Ohio before catching the transport to Canada. She did very well with the dogs and cat there. In her Canadian foster home there are a number of dogs and she is not fond of high energy dogs or when the dogs get in her face. She gives them a little growl to let them know she does not appreciate their enthusiasm at having a new foster sibling. Bunny would do well as an only dog or with a laid back dog who will not overwhelm her.

Bunny was listed in the shelter as being a beagle mix but her breed make up is quite unusual and we think she may have some shepherd, corgi, beagle, and perhaps some sheltie in her. She is a fabulous mutt and very beautiful although she could stand to gain a few pounds. She is a well behaved girl who seems to be housebroken and is not destructive. Bunny adores people and is a loving and gentle girl who so deserves a home who will make her feel safe and secure and not treat her as disposable.
