Oz

Oz has been adopted.

Oz was picked up as a stray in Ohio. He was terrified and did not adjust well in this environment; in fact, he escaped in one of the rooms and it took the staff quite some time to coax him out from underneath the cages. Although Oz was terrified he was gentle and never growled, bared his teeth or tried to bite anyone.

Save Me Dog Rescue realized quickly that this little guy needed to be rescued. A volunteer that we work with at the shelter spent some time with Oz and he quickly became a happy guy ready to interact with people. He is currently in a temporary foster home in Ohio where he was neutered, vaccinated, tested for heartworm (was negative) and treated for a very bad ear infection.

Oz settled in quickly in this foster home and enjoys spending time with other dogs (all sizes) and cats. He is happy, fun and playful. He is working hard on his house training and he is good on a leash. He is currently crate trained and will bark for a few minutes when his family leaves for work each day.

For more information on Oz, please contact his foster mom Robin at robin.legan@yahoo.ca.

Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
