Kahlua has been adopted.
Kahlua is the little ‘lady’ of the group, but don’t be fooled by her size, because what she lacks in size, she more then makes up for in personality! We like to call her ‘small, but mighty!’ She’s a real go getter with a lot of spunk. She’s super friendly and loves meeting new people, just like her mother, Mona. Kahlua’s favourite game to play is chase/fetch. She will bring you the ball back, and keep you playing this game for quite some time.
She’s the ‘Eve-ready-chihuahua’. Her favourite toys are stuffy’s (supervision required). She’s a typical puppy, very curious about her surroundings and loves to go exploring, and just like a toddler, will require constant supervision when not crated or in an x-pen. Kahlua loves to snuggle on the couch with you, once she’s tuckered out from play time. Kahlua is learning to ‘go’ on pee pads and sometimes hits her target with proficiency, while other times missing altogether. Her new family will be responsible for house-training, so a solid plan will need to be in place, prior to adoption.
Due to cold temperatures, and given Kahlua hasn’t yet had all her vaccinations, she has not been exposed to the outdoors, so this will be a new experience for her, once she goes to her new home. Kahlua is teething, so she will require durable, good quality chew toys/bones to help her through her teething stage, and to keep her from chewing your furniture or anything she can sink her teeth into! She is quick and will need constant redirection to chew on her chew toys.
Puppy’s can be a lot of fun, but a lot of work as well, so Kahlua is going to require someone who is ready for the responsibility (and worry) of raising a puppy to adulthood. Puppy’s are a huge commitment to take on and a lot of time will be needed in order to raise a well adjusted, well socialized, balanced dog.
Kahlua is excitedly awaiting her perfect home and family and can’t wait to lavish lots of puppy kisses on whoever is lucky enough to adopt her!
