Willow has been adopted.
Willow has made the long trek from an overcrowded shelter to safety at a Save Me foster home.
Willow has a striking colour pattern on her body that will garner her appreciative looks, complete with an adorable “button” feature on her head. Tall and lanky, Willow is estimated to be closer to being 1year of age. Being a total package of energy, Willow will need lots of exercise with outside play time and several daily walks.
A variety of chew toys – and lots of them — will keep this smart, keen and extremely loving dog occupied. When you aren’t expecting it, Willow will shower you with kisses. Walking on a leash is a new experience to her, but she greeted everyone and every creature with a loving heart and curious eyes. Need a running partner? This ball of energy just might be the perfect partner after leash training!
The resident cats were very interesting creatures for her to sniff and watch, but she did not harm them in any way. Even so, extreme caution when introducing Willow to cats would ensure the experience goes smoothly. Being abandoned at a shelter at such a young age, obedience classes will be essential for Willow to realize her full potential of an excellent family dog.
More details will be added about lovable Willow as more of her personality emerges as she settles into the family routine.
