Snowball

Snowball has been adopted!

Sponsored by Sue, In memory of her gentle giant, Lennon, who crossed the rainbow bridge on February 18, 2020

This sweet senior boy found himself in need in a rural shelter and we are so happy to have brought him into Save Me. From the day that Snowball (affectionately known as John Snow) arrived he has been a delight and loves everyone. He settled quickly into his foster home and made fast friends with the resident dogs.

Snowball arrived with some skin issues from a prior flea dermatitis and that has cleared up nicely with medication and lots of TLC. While at the vet he was found to have a moderate heart murmur which we investigated further with a chest X-ray. The x-ray did not find any evidence of congestive heart failure but he should be monitored for any new signs such as a cough or an increase in his resting respiratory rate. Keeping Snowball at a healthy weight, avoiding sodium, and having him on a heart healthy diet will all be beneficial to him.

This loving boy with the most epic underbite is sure to bring much happiness to his family.
