Fetch and then cuddles anyone?
This handsome little guy is Snoop. He is a playful and happy guy that has a little tail that seems to never stop wagging. He can entertain himself nicely with his toys; however is always ready for a good game of tug and/or fetch. After a good play, he is eager to sit/lay in your lap while you rub his belly.
He can be timid with humans at first but warms up nicely and is sweet and playful once he feels comfortable around you. Snoop has met the neighbor’s kids (all over 14 years of age) and enjoyed their attention. He was playful and gentle at the same time. Due to his small statue and timidness, a home with children over 14 would be best for Snoop.
He has a good appetite which will help with obedience training and understands the command ‘sit’ to receive a treat. He is currently on a grain free diet and loves cut up vegetables as a treat. He also enjoys car rides. He sleeps in his own dog bed or his human’s bed at night time. He has been cat tested and although he has no direct access to the cat in his foster home, he is quiet and wags his tail when she appears.
Snoop loves his walks with his harness. He has mastered walking on a leash very quickly. He greets other dogs on his walks very well and prefers dogs of his own size for a little meet and greet. House training is going extremely well for Snoop. He is on a good schedule and he has had minimal accidents. During the night if necessary, he will use a pee pad.
He is crate trained (although will make a bit of noise when he is first crated) and is looking for a home that will minimize his time alone in a day to no more than 5 hours. He does not require a fenced in yard; however, he does need space to run and play fetch (either inside or outside).
Snoop is so full of joy and love that it is heart warming to see his smile when you come home from a short outing. Snoop has a medium energy level and is hoping to find a forever home that will also enjoy his love for fetch and snuggle time.
