Sally was rescue in memory of Diane Baxter MacArthur.
Sally has been adopted!
Sally is a beautiful red and black hound, very happy and playful. She weighs 35 pounds and is HW negative. Her fur is soft as a bunny’s, and she gets prettier every day.
She gets along well with other dogs, and loves to play with her foster sister Sue, playing with toys, tug of war, and chase, and is a lot of fun. She is very smart and is starting to learn commands such as sit and kennel up. She goes right into her crate, walks well on a leash, and has a very happy personality. She is fine with our 10 cats, too.
Sally was probably kept outside her whole little life, as she was not housebroken at all when she arrived here, but picked it up amazingly fast and now she is pretty well trained to go outside and do her business when I walk her.
She would be great for someone who wants a playful companion for their dog, or for agility training, as she is very agile and graceful, and wants to please. She is also very loving, and wants to cuddle on the sofa and get petted. She was a little crazy when she first got out of the shelter, understandably, but has really mellowed out and has become a fantastic little dog.
