Hello Ontario! My name is Olive and I have been loving being a Canadian since I took the long journey from Tennessee on February 24th. I’m going to let my foster Mom tell you all about me, I know you are going to love me, I have been the very best girl.

Olive is a petit little girl who is very gentle and calm. She has made herself at home, moving silently from room to room respecting all the residents of our home. Olive currently lives with three small dogs and two cats, two adult children and her foster Mom and Dad. Olive initially presents as a very shy girl, but warms up quickly. She just adores being scratched behind the ears and neck, and will nudge your hand for more. Olive curls up in a little ball to sleep, loves comfy beds and sleeps with her humans all through the night. Olive does not know what to do with toys yet, currently she loves to sit and watch her foster siblings play with their toys but has yet to join in. Olive is the absolute best walker. She walks just behind me to the right and stops when I stop. She is non-vocal on our walks and shows no reaction to anyone she has encountered while walking. Olive does not do her business while walking, doesn’t really enjoy all the sniffs and smells…only walks with her perfect purpose of exercise. Olive is not housetrained, but is working on it. Truly is a work in progress, her past business was not done outside. Olive is now showing lots of affection, loves to give and receive kisses, welcomes hugs and belly rubs. She has recently found her voice, and only barks appropriately.

Olive’s future is very bright….we have enjoyed her very much, and we cannot wait for her to enjoy her happy ever after.
