Hi, I am Oakley and I am so excited that I am a brand new Canadian. I used to live in Tennessee and moved to Canada in June hoping my family would find me. I wait for you every day, looking out the window. Waiting for you to come get me. I try to be patient, but I know we will have so much fun together and I just can’t wait.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my foster family but they told me that I will be so happy in my own home with my own family; so let me tell you a bit about me. I love to catch balls, go for walks, hikes and think dog agility or jogging sound fun too. I love everyone and really like most dogs too. I met a lady from Beyond Dog Training in Guelph, she really liked me and agreed I have the smarts and said I am really cute but that I should have continued training and structure when you bring me home. I love being outside catching some rays on the deck, watching the squirrels in the schoolyard or playing my favorite game, Catch. I am good at entertaining myself too. I don’t bark often, but will bark if I think there is something I should tell you about. I don’t go on the furniture, I have my comfy bed in my den (crate) that I really love, snoozing there and sleeping all night too. I am still figuring out polite walking on leash but I can do it, you just need to remind me. I am always learning new things and I promise to do my best to learn and be the bestest dog ever.

I love most dogs I meet and will play if they will play with me and will stay calm if they need me too as well. I did meet rabbits and cats but my foster mom says I am best in a home where there are none. I love kids too, all kids but because I am a little bouncy foster mom suggests that kids be older than 8 yrs old.

I am still practicing my manners really hard and just want to be a good girl for you. I have very good potty manners, I know to ask to go out and if I forget to do something foster mom reminds me and I go do it. See I am really the best dog ever. Come get me forever family, I can’t wait to meet you.
