Nala is a sweet and beautiful husky shepherd mix that came to us from Northern Ontario.
Nala is curious and playful and loves to cuddle. She is learning the ropes of indoor living and has come to truly appreciate a warm bed and fully belly.
Nala and her brother Simba, arrived in our care with demodectic mange. Demodex mange is not uncommon in puppies that come from less then ideal situations (living outside, poor nutrition, possibly an unwell mother) which causes a poor immune system in the young pups. It’s treated fairly simply, and is not contagious to other dogs.
Please note that during her time with us, Nala captured the heart of one of our volunteers. Nala is currently in a foster to adopt situation, and once her skin has completely cleared and she is spayed, she will be adopted by her foster family.
