Muskwa

Muskwa has been adopted!

Sponsored in loving memory of our Sweet Bear who never met a rescue who came through our door he didn’t love and treated as his brother or sister.

Hello, my name is Muskwa (Cree for bear), I am a cute and cuddly pup that loves to play and explore. I came south with my sisters and brother and we love to run and tackle each other. Before I go play with them I like to have a cuddle with my foster mom and sister. That gets me ready for adventure. I am curious about everything around me, I specially like to chew on sticks and play with my toys. I have sharp little teeth so when I can’t find a toy I sometimes bite a toe or finger instead, I am learning that my foster family does not like it when I bite their toes! I am very food motivated so I will do whatever my foster mom or sister want if they have some food for me. I am having so many new adventures but I am starting to want more of my foster family’s time so I need my own home. I will need lots of love, exercise and some training so that I can fit in well with my new person or people’s lives. I like to go outside to pee or poo but sometimes I forget when I am in the house, I am still learning that one! I love being out in the snow so winter walks are okay with me!

To support our Northern Rescue Partners, in their efforts to bring veterinary care and spay/neuter clinics to the Northern Communities, $50.00 of each northern dog adoption fee will go towards these programs.
