Save Me Rescue remembers Munckin.
I had heard about a dog left in cottage country in Nov.on the Bruce Penninsula. I did not see her until April. She had spent an entire winter there. I called several local shelters but they declined to help. I was even told – “This dog is the property of the municipality in which she resides. You are not allowed to help her.”
I bought a hava-heart trap. After several hotdogs and a raccoon, I caught her. I was in tears over the condition of this little Bichon. She was with me for over 4 years and was a wonderful loving companion. This started my interest in dog rescue.
