Lightfoot is adopted!
Lightfoot was sponsored by Diana M.
Lightfoot loves everyone that he meets. He arrived to Canada on Saturday, July 22 and has adapted very quickly to his foster home environment. He is a happy little guy that seems to do well with other dogs, cats, children and all people (male or female).
This little guy is a joy to have around as he is smiling and his tail is wagging all of the time. He walks well on a leash, sleeps through the night in bed with his people, loves his hard doggie kibble, is excellent in the crate (with a kong filled with treats), and is very quiet in our home (in fact we have not heard him bark yet). He LOVES his walks and being outdoors and of course, his people’s lap is the highlight of his day.
Lightfoot’s activity level is moderate. He is not a dog that needs long periods of activity to tire him out. He is very social and he needs a home that will allow him to interact in his community. He seems to thrive in a home where there are multiple people around. He would be a great family dog that you could take to visit the grandkids, to family soccer games, and to just about any family get together. Although he is great with other dogs and cats, another animal in his forever home is not something that is necessary….. his preference is to be with people (even just hanging out watching a movie).
