Hello world! I’m Laverne! I came into care with my sister Shirley from way up North in Attawapiskat.
I am sassy and independent. I’m vocal and maybe a little stubborn and I’m also playful and funny! I have lots of those typical husky traits which make my foster family laugh all the time! I LOVE my dog foster-sister (a big Golden Retriever) and would play wrestle all day long if I could! I would really love a playmate in my forever home.
I have met a cat and I’m VERY interested. A cat free home or a very dog savvy cat will be a must for me.
I need a fully fenced yard. I think I would love an active family to keep me busy and motivated. If I’m bored I will chew on something I shouldn’t. It’s hard being little!
Potty training is a work in progress. I’m still little and will most definitely need patience and kindness as I learn the ropes of life.
I am OBSESSED with food. I devour my meals in 1.2 seconds so a slow feeding bowl helps me slow down. I also need practice to take treats in a gentle way – it’s hard because they’re just so yummy! But I’m working on it!
I am looking for a family that has had Northern dog or husky experience. I’m a special girl, looking for a special family!
I have had my first vaccines and deworming. The nice people at the vet hospital said I was SO CUTE and I wasn’t even scared!
