Dogs

Jody

Jody has been adopted.

Jody was rescued in memory of Marsha York.

Jody is a 34 and 1/2 lb, 10 month old Husky mix.  We don’t believe she will get any bigger.  She has been fully vetted.  She has a lot of energy but knows when it is time to rest.  She greets all dog large and small without aggression.  She is friendly with all people she meets including children.  She has been tested around cats.   Jody is house trained and non-destructive around the house but loves to chew on her elk bones.  Jody rarely barks even when excited.  She wants to run and play with our dog after a 4 km walks (twice a day).  Because she loves to run a fenced back yard would be ideal.  She does pull somewhat on leash when she walks to get near poles, trees and certain grassy spots.  She likes to be petted and puppy massaged.  Jody loves to cuddle up on the couch or in bed if we let her.  She does not take up much room.  Jody’s ideal home would be with children and owners who are willing to give her lots of outside time.  Another dog in the house would be a bonus.  She is not crated day or night.  We don’t think she would be problem left alone out of her crate for a few hours during the day.

For more information on Jody, please contact her foster parents Susan & Martin at mmckinnon3@cogeco.ca.

Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
