Jaz & Taz have been adopted.
May 24/16–Update for Taz and Jaz
These 2 dogs are simply the best guests…haven’t heard one sound out of the in 4 days..even with all my dogs going nuts at the door, and they are always happy !! !! They are so sweet and great with all the dogs here….they are both very cuddly and house trained…love to eat..( ya think..!! ) but are following Weight Watchers program with me !!
They don’t act like seniors..Jaz loves to chase one of my dogs and tries to play with her , but mine is a wimp and not sure what is happening… I have also seen the 2 pug/pekes playing with each other..I could call them the perfect fosters…you never know they are here ! Interesting that they don’t shed like the typical pugs…bonus !!
They so want more attention and would love to be lap dogs……so I’m hoping that someone out there will give these precious pups a loving and caring home..they so deserve it with being such very good dogs . .They must go to a home together ! Please consider them as new family members !! They are so ready to meet you ! Let me know if you have any questions…..
Jaz and Taz are a bonded pair of 10 year old, Pug / Pekingese crosses, as if that isn’t the cutest mix to ever exist. They were surrendered together, to an Ohio shelter due to their owners divorce. We have been told that they are absolutely bonded, having grown up side by side, and as a result; Save Me Rescue has no interest in separating them at their age.
Jaz is a spayed female who is slightly overweight at 18 lbs. Taz, her brother, is a neutered male who is also overweight, weighing in at 23 lbs. They are both perfectly house-broken, each walk exceptionally on a leash and can be walked together without issue. They are both fantastic with other dogs, as well as cats. We aren’t certain about children yet however we will make sure to inquire!
We are happy to say that we have sprung Jaz and Taz from their shelter, and they are now staying in one of our lovely Ohio foster homes. Christine, their new foster mom was able to let them out in the yard today for the first time as soon as they got home, and she was delighted to send us a bit of a photoshoot to share with you all! She has told us that they are really quite friendly, and a joy to be around.
Jaz and Taz will be looking for a home together, and their bonded adoption fee will be in the amount of $600.00. They are up to date on vaccinations, are spayed/neutered and will be arriving shortly to Canada, and Save Me Rescue. If you are interested in adopting this bonded pair, please submit an application through our website or contact their foster mom Janet, at obkennels@rogers.com.
Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
