Hazel

Hazel has been adopted!

Sponsored by Toba, in honour of Toby, Riley and Penny. Every furbaby deserves a loving home and happiness

If there was a contest for the longest eyelashes, Hazel would win. Her eyelashes are the envy of girls everywhere! Aside from her lashes, this girl is a pleasure to foster.

Fresh out of a puppy mill where she was used as a breeder, she is enjoying life in a house and nothing to do except eat, sleep, enjoy the fresh air and cuddle. The puppy mill said she is a mini golden doodle.

It didn’t take long for her to overcome her fear of indoor stairs and runs up and down many times a day with no hesitation.

Not overly food motivated, this beauty loves praise and belly rubs. She is wonderful to walk on a leash but prefers to do her ‘business’ in the backyard and use her walks to actually walk.

Housetraining is coming along great, and as long as she gets plenty of opportunity to go outside, indoor accidents have been very few.

Not a huge fan of entering her crate, once inside she is content and quiet.

Hazel has shown some resource guarding so would be best suited to a home without small children or other dogs.

Her fur requires frequent brushing and regular grooming. She had what was probably her first groom shortly after arriving in our care and was not a fan of the bath. She will require some patience as she learns to appreciate the bathing routine.

She is super sweet and looking for a home of her own. She will be an excellent shadow for someone who gives her love, attention and belly rubs.
