Hanson has been adopted!
Sponsored with much love, by Tracie
UPDATE AUG 12/19 – Hanson came to us from Quebec, in such rough shape, that his age was guessed to be 15.
But after some vetting and TLC our vets believe he is no more than 10 years old. If Hanson’s personality is any indication of how he is feeling, he must be 100% better as he is so happy, relaxed and cuddly now!

UPDATE – Hanson has been healing very well, so we need to start looking for his forever home. He was neutered, dental done with some teeth being pulled, and he had a small lump on his eyelid that was removed.
He is such a sweet boy. He is still nervous when you meet him and does “duck” when you try to pet him, but once he knows you are a “good” person, he will warm up to you very quickly.
He does sleep at the foot of his humans bed. He is good in the car and likes to go for walks.
Recently Hanson played for the first time since he has been in his foster home…he was chasing his foster dad’s hand across the bed, his bum up in the air and his little tail wagging. So sweet!! Hanson would do best in a quiet home, as he startles easy and likes to have afternoon naps. Do you think you could provide the perfect retirement home for Hanson?

Hanson just arrived at his foster home. He is 15 years old but nobody has told him that. He is a shy boy with some fear of humans, but he does warm up quickly. He is good in the car and good on a leash.
Hanson is going to the vet this week for a couple of procedures and once he is healed, he will be ready for adoption.
He would do best in a quiet home with no small children because of his fear.
Hanson was lovingly fostered by Carey.
