Crumpet

Crumpet has been adopted!

Crumpet is sponsored in memory of Luke and with gratitude to Lesley for filling the last months of his life with love and care.

Pita, Naan and Crumpet comes from an Indigenous community in Northern Ontario. They were rescued by a group that works with Northern communities. Save Me Rescue is proud to help puppies, like them find amazing forever homes. These puppies are called ‘Nordic mixes’. They often have a combination of Husky, Shepherd and/or Lab in them but you never know quite what you are going to get!

These little guys look like Lab crosses and we definitely see the other breeds above mixed in. In our experience, they grow into dogs with lovely personalities who do best with active families. They are destined to be intelligent dogs who will require training and tasks to keep them healthy and balanced.

Our vet estimates that they will grow into large dogs – possibly around 35 kg.

Crumpet is everything a little brother should be!  He loves to play, cuddle and sneak up on his unsuspecting sisters.  His beautiful cream colour looks like it may darken into gold.

Crumpet was lovingly fostered by Tanya
